Kelly graduated summa cum laude from Gettysburg College with an Economics major and a concentration in accounting, and as a member of the National Scholar Honors Society of Phi Beta Kappa.
Kelly passed the CPA (Certified Public Accountancy) Exam in November 1998 on her first sitting. She worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen; as an internal auditor for Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland; and as a corporate accountant for a Fortune 500 energy company. She also completed several long-term contract accounting and auditing contracts within the industries of manufacturing and healthcare.
In addition to preparing clients’ accountings, Kelly prepared the estate accountings for her own mother’s estate, which is why she realizes the accounting process for estates, trusts, conservatorships, and guardianships can be an emotional, complex, and time-consuming task. The utmost integrity, honesty, diligence, and attention-to-detail is required in performing an accounting that is relied upon not only by the courts, but just as importantly, by your family.
